Why daily practice matters for children

A weekly class starts the skill. Daily speaking keeps it. The app gives a student a prompt, a minute to talk and a reason to try again, which is how communication skills for kids become a habit.

What your child will learn

  • Answer a speaking prompt out loud
  • Practise spoken English for a few minutes a day
  • Retry a speech after feedback
  • Build confidence before the next live class or event

Programme by grade

Grades 4 to 6

Short prompts and simple English speaking practice a child can finish in a few minutes.

Grades 7 to 8

Longer answers, presentation practice and speaking tasks that match the live classes.

Grades 9 to 12

Interview-style prompts, speeches and MUN-style explanations students can record and review.

How classes work: Prepare, Practise, Perform

Prepare in the live online class. Practise in the app during the week. Perform at a debate, speech or MUN event when the student is ready. The app does not replace the class. It keeps the speaking going.

Live online classes for students worldwide

Students worldwide can practise on their own time, whether they join class from India or from the UAE, USA, UK, Singapore, Canada or Australia.

Frequently asked questions

How can I improve my child's spoken English at home?

A few minutes a day helps: read aloud, retell a story and practise pronunciation. SYM's online spoken English classes, taught by Geetha Balachandran, build fluency, vocabulary and grammar for school, interviews and everyday life. Students can keep practising between classes with speaking prompts.

How can my child overcome stage fear?

Stage fear eases when speaking is practised in small steps. Live classes teach breathing, grounding and how to structure a short speech. Students then practise between classes and perform at debates, speech contests and MUN conferences, so standing up to speak becomes familiar.

Are your classes available for kids outside India?

Yes. These are live online classes, so students join from India and from the UAE, USA, UK, Singapore, Canada and Australia, including NRI kids and Indian families abroad. We teach students from CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE and Cambridge schools. Trial times are shared in IST, GST, GMT and EST.

Which grades do you teach?

Junior Champions is for PreKG to Grade 3. Public speaking, spoken English, MUN training and financial literacy are for Grades 4 to 12. Grades 4 to 8, including class 4, class 5, class 6, class 7 and class 8, are the core audience. Older students in Grades 9 to 12 join the same live online classes with work matched to their year.
