Why financial literacy matters for children

Money management for kids is a life skill, like speaking. A financial literacy course online gives children words for earning, saving and spending before those choices get larger. Financial education for children works best when it is practical, not a lecture about markets.

What your child will learn

  • Tell needs from wants
  • Save toward a small goal
  • Build a simple budget
  • Understand earning and spending wisely
  • Meet the basics of investing through examples

Programme by grade

Grades 4 to 6

Saving jars, simple choices and stories about earning. Students name where money comes from and where it goes.

Grades 7 to 8

A first budget, spending decisions and the idea of saving for something that takes time.

Grades 9 to 12

Bigger choices: earning, planning and the basics of investing, still taught through examples they can explain.

How classes work: Prepare, Practise, Perform

Prepare: a live online class uses an activity, not a slideshow of definitions. Practise: students try a saving or budgeting task at home. Perform: they explain a money choice out loud, which builds both financial education and speaking.

Live online classes for students worldwide

The classes are live and online for students worldwide. A child in Dubai, Singapore, London or a US city follows the same financial literacy course as a student in India, on CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE or Cambridge.
